UK Delivery issues? (with Evri/Hermes)

I bought my Steam Deck, 27/08, shipped 29/08, Evri expecting the parcel on 30/08, Evri gets the parcel on 1/09, and no update since.

Have been talking to others in UK that are also stuck on this, the delivery with Evri says "Next day delivery" but of course that was 4 days ago now.

There is no way to contact Evri. Has anyone gotten their steam deck from ordering last week in the UK?

In the email, be polite, explain your issue with as much detail as possible, including references like your tracking number, address, etc. Try to be concise, someone from the executive team or support should email you back or call you on a private number to investigate.

Once you've waited a while, and have messages from Evri, forward onto Steam via a support ticket and if it's lost or stolen, they'll send you a replacement.

Looks like my first order has officially vanished into the Evri Black Hole so Valve are kindly sending me a replacement. Lots of folks on Reddit are suddenly getting Parcelforce emails despite the industrial action, so I'm hopeful that GLS have decided that Evri isn't worth the hassle they cause.

Well after 2 decks being stolen and having been told that a replacement would be sent. Then been asked to provide a ‘more secure delivery address’!! I received an unwanted full refund from valve with the following support message.

“Thanks for getting back to us.

We understand how frustration you may be.

Can anyone explain what is going on?

I have responded and told them that I didn’t ask for a refund.

Now I seem to need to wait for the funds to return to my account so I can repurchase.

Annoyed may well be the understatement of the year for me.

My best advice for you is to give your neighbours address if you trust them and then as soon as you get the evri tracking number from els go to the evri app and redirect to a local parcel store

I had my second replacement SD redirected to a pick up locker and that didn't work. No amount of redirection will work if they get stolen at the depots.

Damn. That really sucks. I feel for you. It seems that GLS may have now switched to parcel force for steam decks. Perhaps you could open a ticket to valve and check that. If it's the case, then surely they can now send you another deck.

Yes. I think mine was in transit for about 4 days until it got to parcel force. Once it got to parcel force, it was delivered within a day

Ah good to know. Soon after I wrote the message, got an update saying it will be delivered Monday, so at least there's a confirmed date finally.

All 3 of mine got stolen out of the depot. I tried two different addresses but it made no difference.

Well, I have received today confirmation by Steam that they will be sending a replacement.

And at the same time EVRI attempted to deliver to me a parcel. They've showed up at my door with a VAX Battery replacement with the originial sticker of the SD attached to it.

So they've basically had the guts to instead of keeping it quiet and admitting it was lost at their end, send their courier to deliver some other ♥♥♥♥, and bascially confirm that their colleagues at their depot have stolen it.

Pure Scum of the earth this company.

My first deck didn't even make it out of the depot. Actually within 3 hours of arriving to the depot it went into the dreaded delayed status and was never seen again. So Im pretty sure it was stolen rather than delivered to the wrong address.

Yeah mine exactly the same. In a matter of hours after arriving at the depot, it went straight to delayed and never seen again. I got confirmed by the attempt to hand over to me this morning by Evri another parcel, that clearly it had been stolen at the depot.

Yeah. It went quiet for 3 days (from the 11th) and finally updated this morning with parcelforce at 9am saying it was being sorted at the national hub for delivery to the NW. The deck went dark for me for 3 days once it was handed to GLS. I received an email from parcelforce stating a monday delivery for the dock.

I ordered and paid for mine on a thursday and it arrived the following thursday,tracking was very vague till like a day or 2 before it arrived had an email on the wednesday from parcelforce saying it would be delivered the following day...So i reckon you should find out very soon..Hope you.. get it soon,.
