That's normal. There isn't a whole lot of detail during the shipping process. It'll suddenly show up and be handed off for delivery.
As for evri
My evri nightmare is over , worst delivery company ever and thats 1st hand experience, will openly say Evri are a bunch of thieving toe rags and there inability to deliver , to be truthful
and look after there customers parecls is infamous .
I hope everyone gets there missing/stolen decks replaced soon
Well that's good to hear. Waiting for Steam Support team to come back to me on the replacement as Evri stole the 1st one.
Fingers crossed Parcelforce handles the parcels from now on and Evri just burst into pieces as the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company in existence ever.
I cannot foresee them going any further than the end of this year.....they should go into administration straight away.
I'd still much prefer to be able to track, especially as it looks from many comments here, that they're redirecting with the hideous Evri, but I guess there's not much I can do but wait and hope they don't run off with it / hand it to a random person in the street / wrap it up for Christmas!
Exactly the same happened to me. I got a refund and I ordered a 3rd, which also got stolen by the slime at Evri, and at that point Steam Support took pity on me and FedExed one from the US. It must have cost Valve as much as the Deck itself to send it priority international via FedEx, but probably cheaper than continuing to send them via GLS/Evri and getting them pinched.
It is a bit of a shambles that so many are going missing, especially when it's all down to Evri. You would think that someone senior in GLS or Valve would be on the phone to someone senior in Evri to ask them what the hell is going on. I presume those conversations have been had and Evri have shrugged their shoulders and carried on.
I don't normally wish ill on anyone, but I really hope that Evri goes spectacularly bust at some point.

This one gives more info than the global GLS tracking does.
Well, the thing is, before the stole my Steam Deck I never had issues with Evri.
I don't surely wish all the honest people who work for them they lose their job, but they need to:
1) Have some real customer service
2) Get rid of all the scum. If a delivery person steals, he/she needs to get arrested like it would happen for all of us "normal" people.
Yes, they've been mislabeling most Steam Decks and expensive items, whereas the cheap ones get to destination without issue.
Don't get me wrong, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happen. 3 in a row FOR THE SAME EXPENSIVE ITEM when everything else gets delivered? More than just a coincidence.
The english version of GLS stopped after reaching the UK as well.
Kinda sad how on Evri the "We're expecting it" and "We've got it" are ticked, then the bot claims GLS is the one who's delayed :) (GLS isn't stated until spoken to the annoying bot)
That's when I knew. Steam support confirmed they believe it to be stolen too, with very little evidence, so I'm pretty sure they know and are kinda sick of it... On this side anyway. I doubt anything's getting done about it though.
I'm getting a second attempt soon with hopefully a different shipping.
I decided to lie to the evri bot that there was property damage, so i had the option of sending images of "damage" but instead related shipment information, asking about the package and theft and whatnot. Though I wonder if these emails end up in the bin also. I didn't want to bother the CEO, but it's probably better to since he won't straighten his own thing.
Context can certainly add to the understanding of a situation, but it's never going to be enough to justify this farce.
Excellent! I'm so happy for you (and other recent successful recipients).
I also happen to be back home from hospital, with severe restrictions on what I can do while I recuperate. I see a lot of Deck gaming in my future! :)
