UK Delivery issues? (with Evri/Hermes)

I bought my Steam Deck, 27/08, shipped 29/08, Evri expecting the parcel on 30/08, Evri gets the parcel on 1/09, and no update since.

Have been talking to others in UK that are also stuck on this, the delivery with Evri says "Next day delivery" but of course that was 4 days ago now.

There is no way to contact Evri. Has anyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥ their steam deck from ordering last week in the UK?

Also recommend sending an email to the Evri CEO, email can be found here: https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9539

In the email, be polite, explain your issue with as much detail as possible, including references like your tracking number, address, etc. Try to be concise, someone from the executive team or support should email you back or call you on a private number to investigate.

Once you've waited a while, and have messages from Evri, forward onto Steam via a support ticket and if it's lost or stolen, they'll send you a replacement.

By "delivered" I mean dropped and ran. Out of sight by the time I got to the front door.

Despite supposedly being delivered to a parcel drop. Don't go out!

My Steam Deck was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. I waited in (the address is my workplace) and at quarter to eight I got a message saying no one was there. No attempt was made to deliver, which is typical.

It did arrive the next day, around lunchtime.

Just picked mine up from parcel shop...Taken 2 weeks since payment...But its in my hands...Good luck to those still waiting.

So the parcel that said "additional labels needed" for you yesterday has turned up today?

Mine is currently on "Relabled Additional labels needed" and Evri says "We are expecting it".

I just got my Stam Deck guys!! It's long. Long Steam Deck is long. It feels nice to touch, but I like looks and size of my Onexplayer better. The screen in 512GB version is matt, not gloss, which is obviously better. It powered up the moment I connected it to charger. I can see Deck logo on the screen, OS loaded successfully and charging. This is as far as I went with it. I just unboxed it.

Now, the box. There is no VALVe logo anywhere anymore and no label says anything about what is inside. Only the "warning" signs printed on the side of the box suggest that something VALVe related might be inside. The box is longer than I expected.

So I got my email saying mine got shipped on the 16th, it's just arrived. Infact it took Evri less than 24hrs once they got it to deliver it to me. Granted the guy rang the doorbell and left it on the floor so if I wasn't in then rip but hey, it's here \o/

Congrats to everyone who has received their Deck today!

The box does have sender's name (Valve) and address on it, but it's in pretty small print.

I thought I had the size sussed both because I have a TPU "glove" ready for it and because my son 3D printed me a model of the Deck (from Valve) in two halves. Just because he could. The box was STILL longer than I had expected though, because the UK charger is at one end.

It took several days for mine to get from The Netherlands to The Untied Kingdom, but that included a weekend and the funeral of a much-loved monarch. Yours may well be faster.

exactly same as mine yes and came next day so check in morning it should say on its way to final parcel centre again then evri will have it and you should get it tomorrow as well if going on my experience. relabelling don't take long.

mine took around 3 days arrived today 12.30 evri received it 5 hours before so pretty quick really

I think all delivery drivers do this now. I think its because they are paid so poorly, the cost of fuel, they need to drop and run to the next drop off to barely make a profit.

Evri held my package for a week before telling me they'd lost it (i.e it's been stolen). Now valve tells me they need a week to investigate before they can send a replacement. Unhappy.
