UK Delivery issues? (with Evri/Hermes)
I bought my Steam Deck, 27/08, shipped 29/08, Evri expecting the parcel on 30/08, Evri gets the parcel on 1/09, and no update since.

Have been talking to others in UK that are also stuck on this, the delivery with Evri says "Next day delivery" but of course that was 4 days ago now.

There is no way to contact Evri. Has anyone gotten their steam deck from ordering last week in the UK?

Also recommend sending an email to the Evri CEO, email can be found here: https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9539

In the email, be polite, explain your issue with as much detail as possible, including references like your tracking number, address, etc. Try to be concise, someone from the executive team or support should email you back or call you on a private number to investigate.

Once you've waited a while, and have messages from Evri, forward onto Steam via a support ticket and if it's lost or stolen, they'll send you a replacement.

I know i had the option after i put in the "GB Multi Carrier own parcel number"tracking number into the evri app/website (cant remember which) i had the option to switch,but you cant switch back if you make the choice to change delivery address.

Sadly, I didn't make a note of the effort. I signed up to an Evri account, installed the app, added the package by tracking number and then performed a 1-time change of delivery point.

As I can't change delivery address a second time I can't see exactly what I pushed, sorry :(

Also I think the entirety of the UK is on two-day delivery. It's cheaper.

On related news, while Evri are still awaiting my package, GLS have updated that it has reached the UK:

I'm NW of London, and Evil have acknowledged receipt of my Deck at 01:47 this morning *I didn't know until 07:10)

"We're processing your parcel at our hub"

So - I am expecting mine to arrive Friday sometime.

GSL is on transit with mine from Netherlands since last Thursday. I'm pretty sure my Deck is gone. :D

Well Steam have refunded me, although they have kept my £4 deposit that I put down in September 2021.....

Question is, do I add to Steam's support ticket mountain for the sake of 4 quid?

I'm still waiting to hear back if they will allow me to even attempt to buy another Deck. I've provided another address as they suggested. Unfortunately, it is in the same area. By area, I mean the UK.
A quick update from me: I just checked my emails and there was a message from EVRI-- they do in fact have my Deck!! I went on their website and changed delivery method to Inpost Locker very near me. I should receive a QR code and PIN number so I can take it from there. Way better than door-to-door delivery. If the parcel is not in the locker, it's obvious who "lost" it. :D
Good going - my Deck was also released into the wild last Thursday. I'd love to play with it but I'm crossing my fingers to have it for the weekend (It's a 2 day service from Evri but they are currently swamped by packages being sent through them that would normally go via ParcelForce - to "avoid being delayed by the strikes").

At this point I'm wondering if I can get a temp job delivering for Evri 🤣

I would strongly recommend UK/EU customers to check the delivery address in GLS as soon as you get your tracking number.

Use this site instead of the link you get from Steam - https://www.gls-info.nl/tracking (track and trace option).

When I checked, my delivery address was missing the second line of address which included the house number. I was able to spot it and I wrote immediately to Steam support and GLS, however, I haven't heard back from them.

I also got my Evri (local courier) tracking number, so I was able to 'divert' the parcel to my actual address.

Note, this is my reshipment of the Steam deck as the first one was delivered to the wrong address and was unrecoverable.

I don't have a lot of trust in Evri, but I hope the diversion works and I get it this time.
My address as shown by that page is different to the address Evri (who now have my package) show. Evri show my phone number on the first line of the address, not the house number.

I think it's worth following your packages to each courier in turn to ensure your Deck doesn't "go walkies".

Steam support are really struggling. I had two shipments from Steam back in August and the beginning of September that were both stolen by Evri. I was told that they wouldn't send me a 3rd as they couldn't guarantee the parcel would get through.

As a backup I joined the back of the queue and ordered another Deck for delivery in Q4 (to at least give them time to sort out the delivery issues). I put down a £4 deposit. I've just checked and Steam has refunded £345 against my Q4 order but my earlier shipments are still open.

My Q4 reservation is still appearing when I look on the Store......

I'm 4 quid out of pocket and now I don't know whether I should try ordering another Deck, walk away or try and get one off Ebay.

No update for me so far today... just the same old "Delayed" from last week. I guess I'll have to open a support ticket to see what happens next :(

The parcel is stored in the parcel center to be delivered at a new delivery date.
no other information so ive tried that link that knightish has put up and it says Relabled Additional labels needed this is shocking I just don't think I'm ment to have a deck
