UK Delivery issues? (with Evri/Hermes)
I bought my Steam Deck, 27/08, shipped 29/08, Evri expecting the parcel on 30/08, Evri gets the parcel on 1/09, and no update since.

Have been talking to others in UK that are also stuck on this, the delivery with Evri says "Next day delivery" but of course that was 4 days ago now.

There is no way to contact Evri. Has anyone gotten their steam deck from ordering last week in the UK?

Also recommend sending an email to the Evri CEO, email can be found here: https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9539

In the email, be polite, explain your issue with as much detail as possible, including references like your tracking number, address, etc. Try to be concise, someone from the executive team or support should email you back or call you on a private number to investigate.

Once you've waited a while, and have messages from Evri, forward onto Steam via a support ticket and if it's lost or stolen, they'll send you a replacement.

They must be on the same truck it’s been like that for the last 24 hours.

Evri have mine now and are going to let me know when it’s out for delivery soon
I give up folks.

Sent a message to steam support to give me a refund. They basically stopped responding to me about 3 days ago after recommending I get a refund. Looks like that’s the only thing they are willing to do for me.

My ticket has been open with them since the the 8th of September and at this point, to me, the steam deck is not worth the hassle of dealing with support.

Wish you all the best who have their first or second shipment on the way. Gonna be a bit jealous of all who get it, but at least now I can just end this.

I've had a reply from steam about my missing deck my 1st deck faulty 2nd deck courier is enjoying the fruits of that one.

it says on my steam deck order page return received. I'm just hoping it's parcel force as they delivered my 1st faulty deck without fail fingers crossed 🤞

I've rejoined the back of the queue. Hopefully Valve will have addressed the shipping issues by the time I get my next email towards the end of this year.

I'm going to continue following this thread as I think it will be an excellent bellwether for the state of Valve's logistics.

Was going to say Universal Parcel tracking works far better than companies own tracking sits I've found so i would recommend using them. Usually tells you the courier and pretty much every stage. I mean on GLS has no update, parcelforce just that they're waiting but on Parcels says GLS in transit for two days -_-

Yeah think im on the same truck too,im on same tracking update....Hopefully we`ll all receive them with no issues,i would be suprised if they arrived before tuesday though,with the big funeral and all...Fingers and everything crossed.

There's one truck full to the brim with Steam Decks meandering around The Netherlands! I hope no Somali pirates have noticed or they could decide there's better pickings on land...

I agree, what with Sunday being Sunday and Monday being a Bank Holiday to honour the passing of Her Majesty I have been anticipating not seeing my Deck until at least Tuesday. The transport job may be listed at "2 days" but that's "2 working days" so can mean anything up to a week :(

I’m currently on we’ve got it with Evri this morning at 2am, i had an email saying they will let me know when it’s out for delivery this morning about 8. It says two day delivery on it so I’m assuming tomorrow

Praying it comes tomorrow Apprently they do deliver on Sundays

My first one just jumped from we’ve got it to delivered in one day no idea what happened there but it was lost so I’m very nervous about this second one being on weve got it, no idea how I’m gonna be if the second one get lost, I think I’ll just give up

I gave up today for that exact reason and asked for a refund. I had an email from Evri confirming it is lost on the 8th of September. Steam support since then has only sent 2 replies, neither confirming If I’ll get a replacement or not. Today I just had enough of running around and waiting for Steam to do the right thing.
Mine has just arrived.. paid for it thursday the 8th, and arrived today the 17th.. didnt really get any emails saying it was coming today... then after it arrived i got an email saying evri had recieved my package and they will let me know when its out for delivery..

So yeah, dont loose hope if you havent had an email, it could come any time by the looks of it..

Got my steam deck, crying it's beautiful just in time for steam deck 2 next year. Still malding about the first one from GLS
I think the thing to do is treat it as a game. We're (nearly?) all gamers, and we've probably all played games with lots of grind, or lots of "you were 1 pixel out - you DIE!" aspects to them.

This is just another game. Can you get your Deck to the end of the construction conveyer belt? Can you hit the package with the address label arm, or will you address the conveyor belt instead? Can you load the truck up with Decks and then drive the truck to the next point without losing any parcels?

And so on. We could probably make an actual digital game out of it if we get nostalgic for the experience after our Decks arrive 😀
