Joy-Con problems

Hey guys i have some Problems with connecting the joy-cons to the deck. It works sometimes. And when they are connected chances are high they will disconnect randomly after some time and to connect them again i need to unpair and pair them again and then try to connect a few times. And with some luck they connect after a minute or so.
Hope there is a sloution?

See if there is a firmware update for them through the switch.

Within System Settings, scroll down the left-hand side options until you find Controllers and Sensors. Enter the options for Controllers and Sensors and you should see each individual option for your Joy-Cons. Scroll down until you find Update Controllers.

Not the same but...I had to update through the Xbox Accessories app for the Xbox Elite controller to pair properly.

Its possible you might have to change the Steam Decks channel to beta from stable. As they have just added support for the Joy Cons recently.
Give it a try.

Yea i use the beta branch for Steam deck. That adds dual joy-con support to use as one controller. Maybe i have to wait for the next version

Yeah that might be what you have to do. I cant find anyone else mentioning the same problem. There is a kernel driver conflict mentioned when pairing to PC. It might have something to do with that.

I have the same exact issue. Everything you mentioned, same for me.

Same thing. First few minutes everything ok, then they start loosing connection and reconnect, and after sometime they can’t reconnect at all and need repairing

I remember they stopped working after a update earlier this year, I think it was april. Still havent seen it fixed on newer updates.

They patch the divide by zero issue in the preview build
