No, their Kryonaut product. Non conductive.
Interesting. I always stayed away from pads and did paste, as pads never cooled as well. That has been a long time, so actually curious if they have improved to be on par with paste?(liquid metal is a whole other game.)
Innovation Cooling Graphite Thermal Pad – Alternative to Thermal Paste/Grease (30 X 30 mm) https://a.co/d/2UyN4Sx
I have a i5 9400f with the stock fan n my cpu is about 95-100 F idle n just booted... rn im running borderlands 3 on high settings while galaxys updating 2077 and it peaks at about 180.. at 90% cpu usage ..takes lessn a minute from closing the game to cool to 150...takes about 5 minutes to cool down to below 130...did this test just to verify the temps.. idk if thats good or not tho im sure its over due for a dusting out.. i just chose it cuz the long life n less mess XD
Also according to one of the comments on that video if you ever looked at the thermal compound on Gaming Laptops the viscosity of the paste is important and Valve used a clay like thick thermal compound for a reason.
Weird. I definitely got better thermals using it.
So from the test done by this youtuber, changing thermal paste is useless... I thought I'd do it next summer but seeing the video it's not worth it...
Seems there is a VERY SPECIFIC COOLER PRESSURE that if mounted with too low preasure will cause over heating or TOO HIGH will press on the die to hard causing all sorts of gpu core issues (proably the contact for the die shifts too far).
Unfortunately it seems realy hard to guage the exact pressure needed so if possible it's best to not replace the paste unless youre willing to risk the die while doing so.
For now I just losened it enough to still contact whit higher temps as I bios modded mine to run at 4GHz CPU/2GHz which does still over heat but runs stable for light gaming and work loads till I have time to throughly test mounting preasure and other paste later.
Max temp i ever saw was 67°C...
It will greatly depend on your games, settings and ambient temperatures. There is a lot of variation out there. I would wager those that play "on power" likely don't spend as much time reducing settings and such as they aren't trying to maximize their playtime. As such, they will typically run hotter.
No need to answer your question.
Also this Steam PsP wannabee barely plays CSGO at 60 fps 😂😂 if i wanted something at this price doing 60 fps i rather have a console.
Source video?
