Slight creak top panel when pressed down.
Can you guys tell me if this is normal or not?

The top panel area where the USB C port and power button has a creak in it when I press the right top panel down. Is that normal?

The steamdeck has crack sounds a bit everywhere lol. If it works it works. Don't stress.

Nah its nothing to worry about.
I find the casing does that of you hold it in places. Just thin plastic shell, I expect it.

Mine makes this sound at the bottom center of the display if pressure is applied. I just avoid applying pressure at that location.

Same. Thought I was gripping too hard, but it sounds like that's just the way it is.

My right grip is super creaky if I squeeze. My first deck had a major hardware issue, this one is pretty flawless electronically so I just deal with the case imperfection.

Mine was literally doing the same exact thing so I started googling and found this. I just pressed it down rather hard and hear a tiny click and now it stopped lol.

It probably wasnt a click, but instead something broke and you just jammed the parts in place.

I find mine tends to creak a little in the same area. It's nothing to think about, you're all good. :)

Show me on the steam deck where the bad man pressed you.
