Since you have contacted support, I expect Valve will work with you to make sure you can complete your purchase successfully, it may take them a while though - very likely steam support is being hammered with requests right now from all the new steam deck owners and shipments.

Second, did all the details on the card match those on your account exactly? Have you used the card on Steam before?
After answering these, and figuring out what caused the situation, explain what happened to Support and they should help you with your order.
So yea I were Q3 for the steam deck 512 gb $649(with tax $680).
Whole process was 13 day.
Even with it being $680 the fedex guy did not require my signature or need me to answer the door. Just left it at my front door porch and moved to the next drop off site like that. I think if the item was $1000 and over, only then would fedex need that stuff to happen. Fine
Email to complete my purchase happened August 1st, 2022. Did that within four hours of gettin that.
Shipped on august 6th, 2022. When I got the notice at least
It would arrive at my home August 12th, 2022. initially
August 7th, 2022 came by. I got shipping status update saying they would ship to me sooner. The new date were august 9th, 2022. Fire. But that day went by, shipping status was changed to pending for 3 day straight.
On august 12th, 2022 the night of first arrival. A final shipping status update happen. This was when I did get concrete date

It did. Around 12:35pm
Overall I’d say it was a bad experience with fedex. Only Way I could get a steam deck, but still. I was stressing over 5-7 days when the damn thing was here or not

In that case, you should be fine and Support will finish processing stuff once they confirm all the details. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Support’s is somewhat slow right now but they will get to you.
so this is my exp. with fedex pal. what i am assuming sora is going through rn.
i put myself through a lot of stress wondering when the steam deck would arrive. and giving feed back is good idea. plus that exp was not good. if i could, do this over again with my knowledge now. i'd take the necessary amount of sleep. and wait while working out or riding me bike. ppls be posting threads for advice right...

which by the way should not need to be in question. because of covid lock downs i can be some what ok, With the delays. But a full year.. NAH.
