Order Status Still Proccesing
i just paid a steam deck 256gb last aug 23.22.
my order status is still Processing its been a week.

i ask Steam Support they said my account was locked due to system fraud protection unusual purchased.

is this possible they will cancel my pre order of steam deck. its already paid using my credit card.

the transaction of my creditcard was successfull the credit was deducted.

Im still waiting for them to reply its been a days now still got nothing

Sadly all you can do is wait for support, there was another person who had this issue, and it was because they had moved from one country to another, and there was a problem with their new delivery address somehow.

Since you have contacted support, I expect Valve will work with you to make sure you can complete your purchase successfully, it may take them a while though - very likely steam support is being hammered with requests right now from all the new steam deck owners and shipments.

Remember the words of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which proclaims in large friendly letters on it's cover, "Don't Panic!"

First call your bank and make sure the purchase went through and there’s no hold or anything.

Second, did all the details on the card match those on your account exactly? Have you used the card on Steam before?

After answering these, and figuring out what caused the situation, explain what happened to Support and they should help you with your order.

my purchase was successfull and i have a email confirmation from them with invoice number. its been a week now. order status is still PROCESSING. i checked some discussion they said it will only take 1-3days to change the status to shipping soon.

Got sick of repeating info

So yea I were Q3 for the steam deck 512 gb $649(with tax $680).
Whole process was 13 day.

Even with it being $680 the fedex guy did not require my signature or need me to answer the door. Just left it at my front door porch and moved to the next drop off site like that. I think if the item was $1000 and over, only then would fedex need that stuff to happen. Fine

Email to complete my purchase happened August 1st, 2022. Did that within four hours of gettin that.

Shipped on august 6th, 2022. When I got the notice at least

It would arrive at my home August 12th, 2022. initially

August 7th, 2022 came by. I got shipping status update saying they would ship to me sooner. The new date were august 9th, 2022. Fire. But that day went by, shipping status was changed to pending for 3 day straight.

On august 12th, 2022 the night of first arrival. A final shipping status update happen. This was when I did get concrete date
August 13th, 2022
It did. Around 12:35pm

Overall I’d say it was a bad experience with fedex. Only Way I could get a steam deck, but still. I was stressing over 5-7 days when the damn thing was here or not

Last time I replied to a post like this, I gave the exp a

USA 512GB, mine went from Processing to Shipping Soon in around 24 hours. Buddy of mine got his 5 days after he paid. Was hoping to get mine before this weekend, but doesn't look like that will happen.

In that case, you should be fine and Support will finish processing stuff once they confirm all the details. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Support’s is somewhat slow right now but they will get to you.

so this is my exp. with fedex pal. what i am assuming sora is going through rn.
i put myself through a lot of stress wondering when the steam deck would arrive. and giving feed back is good idea. plus that exp was not good. if i could, do this over again with my knowledge now. i'd take the necessary amount of sleep. and wait while working out or riding me bike. ppls be posting threads for advice right...

putting me in one category cause ya hate how i communicate isn't my problem.
bro everyday i have been trying to assist these gals/dudes. that's just my most recent iteration of my ever changing answer of this common question.

which by the way should not need to be in question. because of covid lock downs i can be some what ok, With the delays. But a full year.. NAH.

they weres transparent, which is great. it's just hard to wait for something to arrive, originally a 3 month process. turned into 13 month slugfest

so this is my exp. with fedex pal. what i am assuming sora is going through rn.
i put myself through a lot of stress wondering when the steam deck would arrive. and giving feed back is good idea. plus that exp was not good. if i could, do this over again with my knowledge now. i'd take the necessary amount of sleep. and wait while working out or riding me bike. ppls be posting threads for advice right...

Really, need one “FedEx/GLS” delivery thread so everyone can vent in one spot.

So fedex didn’t deliver the steam deck to ya? Was it ups?

No because FedEx doesn’t deliver Steam Decks in the EU and the UK.

Also, re-read OPs questions. Delivery isn’t the issue.

I still think my feedback from valves delivery services wherever in the world is still good to be in this discussion. Tell me how I am wrong.

It's GLS in the EU for the whole process, and in the UK, Parcelforce - when they're not on strike - takes over the local delivery once the Decks are delivered to the local distribution centre. In the EU and the UK, it usually takes 10 - 14 days between ordering and delivery; GLS doesn't operate on weekends or public holidays.
