Onscreen keyboard not working in game?

For example in Worms Clan Wars it wont take any Input from the onscreen keyboard when you want to rename your worms or team.

well it should, try click wtih mouse when the keybord is up, sometimes it has it own mind, i mean click where you want to used the keybord, i think you give what i meaning

Sadly I have not run into this problem, so I don't have a solution yet... you could plug in a keyboard using the USB port on the deck temporarily to get past the screen maybe. Not the best solution, but it might work.

It happened to me as well yesterday playing among us for the first time. I restarted the game / deck after a while and it worked no problem then.

the OSK is buggy. using the trackpads to type might help but it needs a patch.

Standard Steam button-X combo not working? In games you need to manually bring up the keyboard.

It comes up, but it doesnt register anything i write.

This has happened to me a few times, but it was just screwy keybindings. Note, that this shouldn't be a thing - the game profile shouldn't overwrite the default keyboard controls.

You could try running the game in Desktop mode; this works for some people. Obviously, not practical even when it does work - it's a quick fix for games where you just need to add a character name once or something.

Might be worth making a thread in the bugs section with as much info as possible. Include a list of all games it's happening in.

Somehow it doesnt even work in desktop mode.
It kinda makes Worms Revolution unplayable
