Changing the startup sound/video?

Has anyone had any success changing or removing the startup sound, or replacing the startup animation?

I'm guessing it's a video somewhere on rootfs?

The startup animation and sound is actually not a part of the OS but steam. It shows a static logo through dracut I think until Steam starts up at which point it shows the animation and sound.

I am therefore not aware of any way to modify it.

Probably from some video file in .steam in the user home folder...

being from Steam not from the OS is certainly helpful for further googling a how-to
