What does "Set resolution for internal and external display" do?
I'm struggling to understand the new "Game resolution" setting, and more specifically the "Set resolution for internal and external display" checkbox.

What's the difference between checking it and leaving it unchecked? If you don't check it, does the resolution you set only apply to the external display?

Also, what's the difference between "Default" and "Native"?

maybe the difference between "default" and "native" is that default is about your own system, and native is about the "main resolution" of your external screen. if both are the same, i guess you wont notice a difference unless you se a different kind of screen.

im guessing, i dont have one to test.

Thanks! What about the checkbox, though?

Yup. If you leave it unchecked, it only affects external displays.

Checked allows you to set the rendering resolution when using the built-in display. Meaning you can make the game render at up to 4k but downsample to the 800p of the deck display. Or force the deck to only expose lower resolutions (which can help with games that ONLY run at the detected resolution, to force them to run at lower or higher resolutions than 800p)
