Thats usually pretty standard for mobile devices as they usually assume you don't have the screen space for a full sized one and usually have other options for finding the other special characters
My phone defaults to @ over 2
The issue is that it is a full size US layout, not a full size UK layout. So the key for : and ; is next to L, which is where @ and ~ should be
Even on desktop mode when i change the layout to UK it goes back to US every time i reboot which is annoying.
This means that things like passwords become an utter pain to type for those of us who are not in the states
There is a few differences for these layouts. Most notably there's no £
actually yes it does, the amount of times i've set it to the UK layout make sure its default. even tried to delete the US layout from kde settings it goes back to US layout regardless when you reboot and go back into desktop mode.
This is really disappointing that Steam doesn’t support English localisation correctly.
Changing to UK time didn't do it. Right click on time select modify time format then select British English. Sorts out @#£|.
