XCloud Controls not working

I followed the steps and got Xcloud to open but none of my buttons are working just the track pad as a mouse tho I cannot click on anything. Anyone have a solution?

I would suggest redoing the steps again. Possible you missed an important step.
Make sure you enter the Konsole in desktop mode and enter:

flatpak --user override --filesystem=/run/udev:ro com.microsoft.Edge

And that launch options are:

--window-size=1024,640 --force-device-scale-factor=1.25 --device-scale-factor=1.25 --kiosk "https://www.xbox.com/play"

I tried setting up chrome. I entered the Konsole command for chrome and I did not set any launch options. The mouse moves around but the gamepad controls don't work when I choose that config. I might try edge to see if that works. When entering commands in the Konsole I just press R2 when I'm done and close the console, right?

did you manage to gett i working im having the same problem on chrome and edge controls wont work on none of them

Haven't tried again. Maybe this weekend. I have to get out my keyboard and mouse so it's a bit of a pain.

I'm pretty sure that to use XCloud on the Deck, according to the official Microsoft post, you need to use Microsoft Edge not Chrome. But I could be wrong.

Ramesses429 - Did you resolve the issue? If so, how did you fix it. I can’t get mine to work. I’ve tried entering the flatpak code several times but that hasn’t helped.

Same issue here I was excited to get everything looking good and launched it and doesn't recognize the inputs just the right track pad as a mouse

It has to do with the copy paste when doing konsole command prompt I made sure to paste correct then do the exit command and went back and it works now

I got it to work. I followed the steps that support. Microsoft provided. It didn't work first. One thing I did different. If you get an error in edge for put a space between the last @ and -. Also don't forget to restart the device. I did it from the desktop and then again when it booted to the steam os. Just for good measure. I hope this helps

I followed Microsoft's instructions and at first it didn't work, but when I play now, my controls work. I didn't do anything different at all except apply new steam deck updates as they come out. I only apply the "stable" updates.

thanks this fixed it for me, i had to copy and past the two scrips you posted on the deck and that worked, I must of typed it wrong the fest time i tried

I have done the above and in game the controls don’t work. But they work around the menus.

Yeah I have tried this about 4 times now and still can't get it to work right. It won't recognize the controls in desktop mode, and won't launch in game mode
