Is dbrand's tempered glass protector for the anti-glare version (512GB)?
Yes, I know, stupid question of the day. But I can't find anything about it on dbrand.

I have heard that the 512GB display scratches more easily.

Doesn't the display have to be dust-free to apply such protection?

It works on all models. But it defeats the purpose of the screen being anti-glare because the protector is shiny and causes glares.
I can't say the etched glass scratches more easily. Never tested it out.
Yes as for all screen protectors in general. Same goes for the Deck skins and even look into car vinyl wraps and even window tints.

Been wanting to buy a screen protector for my 512GB version, I'm loving the anti-glare glass but even a really gentle touch on the screen and voilà, fingerprints everywhere. Which makes me nervous somehow lol.

geez, and cleaning the 512 screen is scary af too.

No matter how clean the screen may be, the etching makes the screen FEEL dirty when you rub it w a mf cloth.

I clean my steam deck the way I clean my cameras and glass, not screens.
Dust blower > real hair brush > lens wipes

4k tv worth various steam decks... gets a damp cloth

edit: forgot to mention the point to this post.
I too have been looking for a good screen protector to go over the 512 screen, simply to not trigger my OCD with the rough (feels dirty) screen.

if you don't want to polish your etched screen smooth, only use the supplied cloth.
