Case - What's the white strip / ribbon for?
Hi there all!

The steam deck's case has got a white strip / ribbon in it. First time I saw it I thought it was for attaching the console better so it wouldn't move even a bit... but I cannot tie that strip to anything, it's just loose inside the case.

What's that strip for? Can I just simply cut it?

If you pull on that, the emergency parachute opens. I wouldn't recommend using it indoors though.

It's meant to lift the Deck up, in order for you to grab it easier (instead of having to lift it where the shoulder buttons are)

Oh, I see. Glad to know! I didn't had any difficulty grabbing it until now, tho.
