Nah, UPS is worse by a long shot; but FedEx has really been trying to give them a run for their money as of late.
Good luck with your Steam Deck, hopefully you are able to get it resolved.
It should have been scanned for pickup from there
It should then have had a scan at FedEx Ground, 205 Della Ct, Carol Stream, IL which is the FedEx distribution center for ground and FedEx Home Delivery shipments
Then it should have scanned to the a truck going to their distribution center in your state, not a truck for local delivery....
Definitely shouldn't have been delivered to an appliance parts supplier...
Besides opening a support ticket with Valve did you also call FedEx?
easiest solution is to buy a security camera and place it right at your door so it captures all deliveries. they are cheap now and can be purchased for 35.00 on amazon

That address IS NOT VALVE! It's a shipping/logistics company named Ingram Micro. Just reading reviews about them makes it all the more understandable why my Steam Deck shipment was messed up from the get go!
Welcome to my post 2 months ago. Not sure what reviews you're reading because they largely don't deal with b2c.
Where I live, FedEx is worse than UPS, they will chuck expensive packages onto my porch from halfway across the yard, often a day or two after they were scheduled to be delivered. On the contrary, UPS has a pretty great track record around here. They are more reliable than both USPS and FedEx for getting me packages undamaged and on time.
