Uninstalling manual install of Epic Games Store
Hi, I am completely new to Linux. I followed some youtube videos on how to install the EGS and add it as a non-steam app. I was able to launch the EGS from SteamOS and install Celeste. But when I tried to launch the game it just says "Running" and I never see the game load. I just discovered Heroic game launcher is supposed to mitigate launch problems so I want to uninstall EGS. I right clicked and removed it from my Steam Library but don't think that deletes the folder that was created when installing the Epic Game Launcher does it? I want to find and delete the EGS folder and make sure that Celeste is deleted as well so I don't have multiple copies, but I can't find these folders anywhere using Dolphin File Explorer. Can anybody help?

you have to dig around in the numbered folders in the compatdata folder in local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata, and look through the "drive_C/program_files(x86)" folders to figure out which of those numbered folders is the one that has your Epic installation

It may be Deck Verified when buying from Steam. i.e. it's possible it's not the same exact version as to what is on Epic.
