Inside the case? Very unlikely. Battery capacity is pretty much directly linked to physical size. So there simply isn't enough space for a large battery. You'd have better luck just getting a large USB-C power bank and plugging in when needed.

Just grab something like an Anker Powercore Elite III, it can easily charge my battery while playing at full power, and gives me like 10 hours playtime.

I have this question as well – it seems like if the back of the enclosure is modified, it can accommodate a much larger battery and still be ‘portable,’

Think something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z317b8md1Kw

Naturally, you’d still want the area immediately next to the R4/R5/L4/L5 buttons to be unaffected, but you could probably taper at those points and have a chunk in the middle dedicated to an upgraded battery.

Not worth the hassle, just carry a power bank with you.

moreover, if you open the console you lose the warranty in case of breakdown.

just opening it doesn't void the warranty.

Two of these:

will triple the battery capacity.

Shielded M.2 extension cable so a normal 2280 SSD will fit and WIFI range will probably be improved.

Reliable low power 2TB fast drive for not so much money.

And a 3D printed case, thicker in the center but leaving enough space for the fingers.
Printed on an IDE printer with Vulkan heat resistant PLA and soft PU inserts for extra grip.

Nagging people, please do not tell me not to mod my SD, I will mod it until it looks like a pregnant gorilla, and I [don't] appreciate your motherly advices.

Maybe just strapping the battery pack to the back of the Steam Deck.
