Do you need to be home to recieve the Steam Deck?
Do you need to be home to recieve the Steam Deck? or will it be put into the mailbox?

My fears came true, I am in Q2 and i didn't recieve a email yet. There is only 1 monday left. So i am waited a year into Q2 2022. and when will i get it...... ....in Q3...
By my estimations i will recieve a mail on the 27th and it will be shipped at 22/23. So i will get on the first but most likely on the 2nd. However at that time period i will not be home :( I have had all the time in the world to recieve it but the moment i need to leave home it will be deliverd... :/

Have a trusted neighbor hold on to it.

They left mine on my doorstep. You can have FedEx deliver it to your local usps if you are in the US and pick it up from there.

The shipping company usually gives an option to set where they should put it when not at home. Heck here they just tossed it over the fence when i said garage.. but still..

At my place, when I'm not at home, the shipping company drops that off at a parcel shop. That's usually a shop, a genuine place around here which does it's business and handles parcels on the side. They keep them in a locked backroom asking for both the parcel notification slip and an ID so it's safe.

Just receive it at work

I will not be at home or work. Thrusted neighbours, uch. I have a mailbox that can recieve small packages, i hope they use it. I feared you needed a signature .

I hope they don't drop it over the fence, last time everthing was soaking wet. It cost me 24h to find the package.

According to the FedEx app the package is 17" long.

If you use the app you can leave delivery instructions.

When you got your notification that your Deck was ready, did you get in an email only or did you get a notification when you logged into your Steam account? Imask because I miss stuff in email sometimes so if it says your deck is ready for purchase when I log into my account then I'd know it was time.

Why do you doubt? It was an honest question?
Xamurai Jun 26, 2022 @ 5:49am
I never claimed you were not honest.
Your account looks like it was made recently so assumed its either a second account to buy a second Deck or you made an acount to get your hands on this device to sell it.

When you have a second account or email you are less likely to check it every day. well in my experience.

But i could be wrong.
