Steam deck multiple controllers
I want to play NHL 2004 with 3 of my buddies old school style. What is the procedure to add 2 ps4 paddles and 1 xbox one paddle?

You connect them via bluetooth. For the PS4 remote you hold down the PS button and options I think until it blinks to pair. Don't know about xbone

Thanks man. I hear ya and already know that. But when I play NHL 2004 via ps2 emulator for the steam deck. I can only get as far as 2 working. I want four so we can play. I do also have the multi link turned on.

Try another game first, one of which you absolutely positively know it supports 4 gamepads.

I had a ton of trouble reliably connecting multiple Bluetooth controllers. I eventually connected them via a powered USB hub and four 8bitdo dongles

are you using a dock or just a powered usb as you said?
if so for the dock which one are you using?

I used a dock and a powered USB hub. Docks that worked well include these:

Just about any powered USB 3.0 hub would work. This is the one I used:

I used others and they worked as well. I've reviewed a few similar peripherals as well if you would like other suggestions.
