How to uninstall apps (Blizzard) in desktop mode

Today I installed the Blizzard installer and Diablo Immortal.
Things went well - until they didnt. :)

Battlenet launched through steam - from there I downloaded Diablo Immortal.
It was there issues arose.

Diablo Immortal, when launched, downloaded another copy of Battlenet.
(If you went through one version it would recognize Diablo, the other wouldnt show it on the device)

Either way - could not get Diablo Immortal to launch.
So, went to uninstall. (That was awkward, but it seemd that Blizzard let me do it... just not in desktop mode)

However when I went back I saw Diablo folder still there.
And deleted it and everything in the compatdata folder that was put in there today.
... hoping to get rid of all Battlenet and Diablo instances.

* Are there any other places the data may be?
Would be nice to have a clean uinstall - or cleanup from apps, etc. that you download.

Just doing the above was 'rocket science' for me (going under compatdata to see a string of numbers and guess which one would hold the app needed to put in the launcher) :)

I’m so glad no one helped you. I’m in pretty much same situation where I downloaded a game but it actually only downloaded the installer so then I had to install the game from the installer and can’t uninstall from the installer and uninstalling the installer only removes the installer and not the game. I can’t even past the file path into the file manager. Linux is dumb for being this complicated…

I have the same problem but with Diablo IV. It is installed somewhere, and people recommend I delete the compatdata folder but it's only 250mb. I've got 100gb now used on my Deck for 'other' 😑

You need to remove manually,there's no other way... first go to desktop mode,then open Dolphin manager. From there : Home>.local>share>Steam>steamapps>compatdata. From there you'll have to search for yourself which map contains blizzard (there's a separate map for the launcher and other maps for the games) I had 3 complete maps to remove (launcher/WoW/Diablo). It should be the maps with the longest numbers 😉. When you found the maps containing blizzard stuff/games,drag the complete map into trash 🗑 and last step... just empty your trash 🗑 ... Done you made some space . Hopefully it will help you out 😁
