2: The same thing basically. You can map the Heroic Launchers K&M input to either the joysticks or anything else you like. There might be some community layouts for it already - they're in the config menu as well.
Edit: Note for individual games running through the heroic launcher, I just create a - or use a community template - separate individual profile for each and then just switch to whichever one I'm playing. I'm sure there's a faster way to do this, just I can't be bothered.
To add to Bee's comment, once inside the Edit Layout section start by going to "Joysticks" on the left. On the row labeled "Right Joystick Behavior", go to the "cog" on the far right. Once in that menu, on the first page that is the "General" tab, there is a setting for "Stick Response Curve". Test out some options (specifically try Relaxed and/or Wide).
You can do the same for "Left Joystick Behavior".
I've made the adjustment - but now can't test - flight sim games puts you on a runway, and I've tried EVERY control - nothing takes the plane off. Found the throttle, wound it all the way up - nada. And apparently no manual on the game - others are asking. Just some extremely brief videos - nothing that tells you the basics of how to do things.
Other games run fine - will take you through a bit and much better.
Also, to be afraid to try some of the community controller schemes. A lot of the members of the community really put a lot of time into their schemes and it's very easy to test (or move on if the scheme doesn't suit you). For some of the more non-traditional games (i.e. non-gamepad games), I've found some really good schemes in the community section.
First - getting into the controller is possibly documented somewhere - but certainly NOT intuitive. Yeah - it shows up in some places, but how to adjust in the game or in the Library. 2 right clicks of the DPad?
Second - I've just seen a couple of videos where someone is explaining how to do things. The biggest problem is - they do voice over, and what THEY call things is NOT what the menu shows. So someone tries to verbalize what they've heard - uses same language - but you can't find that menu option. Doesn't exist by that label/name/menu option. I mean - it's right there on the screen - READ IT - don't "wing it".
It took me way too long to figure that out as someone who was trying to play miles morales on deck.
