How to exit game with Dock and Keyboard?

Since there is no Steam button and the Windows key does not act as one, how do I exit a game with the Dock using an external keyboard? Quick Google search has shown nothing.
And no, Alt+F4 does not work either, neither do any of the more common Windows combinations; Ctrl+W, Shift+Ctrl+Del, etc.

sadly there only linux pros that can answer, valve purposely refused ever giving out printed instructions for usage, while its still testing deck, the basics are refused for quality of life fixes just like most games....with deck

You would think that with the Steam Dock being a thing now and them wanting to push that they'd make a way... oh well; thanks for the reply at least.

If the game has it's own exit mechanic you can use that.

(I don't have a dock or a keyboard handy to test with but) otherwise, I would try alt+f4, alt+tab, or maybe create a custom keybind somehow? I know for sure the above should work/be possible in desktop mode though.

im a bit late but try doing ctrl+alt+t to open a terminal and if you dont have xkill instlaled install it there and after u got it just type xkill and click on the game

Ctrl+1 to open Steam Menu, select Exit Game there.
Ctrl+2 opens QAM fyi.

Also for a stuck/crashed game, Ctrl+alt+f4 then when login appears, Ctrl+alt+del to reboot steamdeck?
