Micro sd card power consumption
Any difference in battery life with micro sd cards plug into it ? Like half hour battery life taken away or no battery life taken away at all?

Can't see how. SD cards are low powered storage. I would assume that a Micro SD card in the Deck would use less power than using an SSD equipped Deck. I've got the 512GB model.

The main things that drain the battery is the APU (integrated CPU/GPU) and the display.

Pretty sure they only draw power when actually transferring data so for most games negligible once its loaded up.

Worst case scenario: you're downloading a massive game to the card whilst gaming. (ignoring the additional power use for the wifi).
Google guestimates the max power draw of SD cards to be around 0.3W during transfers and the Deck has a 40Wh battery. How much gaming time we lose depends on the games power draw

TMNT 8W
(40/8)-(40/8.3) = 0.18hrs (~11minutes)

Spider-Man 28W
(40/28)-(40/28.3) = 0.015hrs (~1minute)
