Desktop mode icons gone

When in desktop mode my icons on the desktop dont show up. (like the return to game mode shortcut) I know they are there because they all show up in the desktop directory when using dolphin file explorer. How do i make them all reappear on the actual desktop?

Right Click on desktop > Icons > Sort by > Name
If they are there this should pop them right up to the top.

unfortunately i dont see an icons menu when right clicking the desktop. i can configure desktop and wallpaper, add widgets, add panel, show activity switcher, enter edit mode, or logout.

I used to get this once, my icons were still here, but not showable, they were technically placed outside of the screen

The cause was just some icons were placed outside the Deck screen view, I had to scroll the view down (you can see a little slider on the desktop mode view , far right), moving the icon back up , and the view went back to normal and scrollers disappeared

I have a mouse so Mouse wheeling on the desktop also worked to scroll down the desktop

I figured it out. For anyone else who experiences this problem you might need to right click the desktop > configure desktop and wallpaper > layout > folder view.

mine was set to desktop which hid all files on the desktop. Thanks for the help and i hope this may help someone else as well.

How did you fix it. Mine suddenly disappeared when I tried changing the resolution connected to my monitor and everything disappeared.

i fixed this by changing the display configuration, you can change from deck screen to monitor screen at the right sizes

Configure desktop > lower the panel length to 50 or less till you see them again

Nothing worked. It seems all Desktop data was wiped after a crash.
