Mouse binding Firefox issue
Well over half the time when I use the buttons for mouse clicks in Firefox (in gaming mode) my cursor gets moved to the top left corner of the screen.

There isn't a subcommand set to these buttons that should do that. It is registering the click because I can drag the first tab around.

Anyone have this issue? Any fix?

I have this issue. it worked itself out one day when the resolution changed. Then it reverted and it's doing it again. I'll try it out again and see if I can manually change reso.

I experience this too. It's not a mouse binding issue, the mouse clicks are being 'sent' correctly.

It's something to do with how context menus are handled (or not handled?). When a menu or tooltip is created/drawn it fails in some way that results in the cursor moving to the top left and the screen dimming briefly.

I know this is an ancient thread, but if you want Firefox to work in gaming mode you can disable tooltips which will work around the rendering issue mentioned by roadkill (thanks to them for pointing me in the right direction when I was having this same problem).

Open the about:config settings in the firefox address bar and set browser.chrome.toolbar_tips to false

It may disable all browser tooltips like in web pages, but it will work.

Game scope does not handle pop up menus. Game scope will either need to add support for it or allow firefox run in wayland.
