Question about iFixit
I accidentally scratched up the Menu button on my Steam Deck a little while ago, and after contacting Steam Support, they essentially said it wasn't a major enough issue for me to send it to a repair center(which is fair).

Realizing that these scratches will just be there forever if I don't replace it myself, I checked iFixit and saw that they do not sell replacement Menu buttons, even though weirdly enough, they do have a guide on how to replace it.

My question is, did iFixit ever have replacement Menu buttons in stock? If they didn't, is there any chance they will?

It's more likely they are anticipating having the parts. They are likely waiting until they feel like they have a steady supply to be able to offer them. They have many guides up for parts they don't sell yet. Likely just all waiting for the surplus.

Ifixit has got front panel and back panel available as spare parts. So I guess when you buy a front panel you probably can move existing buttons to new panel. Which might be why they have guide for it. Who knows
