we are sorry you are on your own. Dont use windows, maybe some can help you with the unsupported os.
Boot loop? Never heard of it.
I think your best bet is probably to wait for updated Windows drivers. Focus is on Steam OS so I'm not sure if you can expect it to be resolved quickly or if you have to wait, though, but I hope you don't have to wait.

EDIT:

Now that I read your post better, maybe there could be something you could do, but since I'm a Steam OS user I cannot help. Updated drivers should hopefully make it better, but there might be some hack those people used, I don't really know. Hopefully someone else can shine more light on this since now I'm curious myself.

They're likely using geforce now cloud streaming. This is the only way to get a smooth 60+ fps currently but the trade-off is slight input latency.

What people did you watch have no problem? You need to link a source.

35 fps average natively on Windows 11 looking at the video, the title is clickbait.

60-120 using a cloud streaming service.

60 fps on Windows 10 but you're still getting stutters down to 50's using DX12 API, and this was recorded in March so no telling if things have changed since then with updates to Fortnite.

Some games you're just not going to get a locked 60fps regardless of settings, especially on an OS that isn't fully supported yet.

Your best bet is just to stick to using a switch for fortnite if you have one until further support from Valve (all they've done is made the drivers to support installing Windows, who knows if they will even work on software based performance as their primary focus is Steam OS).

Ah yes, a post from months ago about getting in a boot loop after specifically updating from desktop mode.

You know they've updated the Deck since then right?

there were like 10 people who had that out of how man SD users now?

you need to remember that majority of people will not post anywhere about a problem AND that majority of people who have no problems will not write anywhere that everything is alright.

You pointed out 6 people(including you) over the course of almost 2 months.

It is not this widespread issue like you claim. Especially if you don't try to update in desktop mode like they explain was the cause of the issue

Which doesn't have anything to do with Linux itself or do you really think this happens with every Linux device :steammocking:

And that's relevant to the OS how?

Linux OS has problems but it has nothing to do with Linux, lmao

How is people filling up their drive relevant to a discussion that is more likely related to and OS problem?

Wait, is this Lauren's alt?

Don't know who Lauren is but you Linux people are weird and filling up your M.2 is relevant to boot loops. Also Windows doesn't have that problem.
