After Q3 could mean Q4 or it could mean sometime in 2023 because that is what comes after Q3.

After October this year?
But who knows, depends when you ordered? I preordered another one today and it’s showing Q3 or later also?

In the US, they all say AFTER Q3 if you want to reserve one today.

Time/date on the email for the confirmation of the reservation?
You never answered that in your last thread.

Depends on which model you ordered. Base model will probably ship quicker than the top model, because Valve admittedly underestimated the demand on those.

"After Q3, October or later" is when they say mine is shipping as well. Don't expect to get yours this year. I'm expecting it to be delayed 2 or 3 quarters, like maybe the middle of 2023 if I'm lucky. I'd rather Valve just be honest with me and tell me Q3 2023, vs giving me a misleading preliminary estimate I'm convinced isn't gonna happen.

After q3 means December and beyond. Most folks dont know that Q aren't align with months on the calendar, but based on Tax Cycle. Aka Q1 is spring, Q2 Summer, Q3 Fall, Q4 Winter.

If you follow the seasonal date line that puts the expected date into December and into next year.

I know, just asking if its safe to assume 2023.

That’s wrong
Q3 is July to September
Q4 is October to December
It even says on the steam deck page if you’re Q2
“due April to June”

No I'm not wrong on my statement they don't break up the year into equal parts q4 ends and starts each year. Whoever posted that info on the page doesn't understand Business Cycle Quarters. Probably why people are frustrated on when they get or don't get their product.

Fiscal quarters end on every third month of a company's fiscal year (which can start/end when the company decides), while calendar/marketing quarters end on every third month of the calendar year.
The two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive and calendar/marketing quarters are set in stone as a standard. Fiscal quarters vary wildly from company to company and are usually different than calendar quarters so they can put in sales data from high earning periods in with some of the lowest earnings from that same quarter.
When you market something you use calendar quarters to tell when a product is releasing.
