Steam Deck

Steam Deck Friends
Simply stated I’ve had my Steam Deck for about 3 weeks and I’m loving it so far. It just seems like people join my games less often than I thought. When I played Borderlands 2 on the switch it seems like more people would drop in compared to playing Borderlands 3 on the deck which is newer and cross platform. Basically just trying to build my friend list with steam deck users and more co-op players. So if you want friends for any of these co-op games add me. Borderlands 2, 3, The Pre-sequel. Gta V. Saints Row 2 & 3. Dead Rising: Off The Record. Dead Island Riptide. Apex Legends. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog days. Multiverse. Brawlhala. DOOM. Just Cause 2.
Still looking to add more co-op so steam deck users recommend some.
Still feel free to add me if you just want someone to geek about the steam deck with, talk emulation, game recommendations, tips. Etc.
Wanna get my profile looking all cool like a tumble/MySpace page for gaming so any experts I’d appreciate the help.

You might be better off posting to the individual game's communities on steam, reddit, or discord

Thanks, I add most recent reviewers from my co-op games list an check the community discussion pages. PC just doesn't seem as active as I hoped coming from consoles, or at least when you're starting out new. Thought I try this one specifically for steam deck friends and that community. Its so much to learn and share with this thing especially for it being most peoples first pc gaming experience, just wish they were easier to find.

I would argue this isn't most people's first PC gaming experience especially since you need to have a Steam account to even order one 😉.
And honestly the player base on PC is way smaller compared to consoles since a PC is much more expensive and can be much more complicated as any Console.

You’re right, I was referring to steam deck users who haven’t had a good enough pc for gaming until the steam deck those are kinda who I’m looking for, I feel like they’re are gonna be online more often since it’s new to them and more enthusiastic to geek about deck stuff. Guess it just takes a while to find that community.

Not only is the total pool of players smaller, but the groups are more insulated. People play on private servers or only play with their friends a lot.

I too am looking for STEAM DECK friends , I want to test out the Mics and the connectivity . So if anyone want to help build a community around the Steam deck send me a friends request or invite and we can get started.

Is there a Steam Deck Friend Train? Probably not.
