Retro Games Lag
Hi all, before I start poking around in my Deck and probably do more harm than good in the process does anyone know a cure for my retro games lagging? It's across the board from Mega Drive and Snes to PSX and Gamecube.

Some emulators seem to be slowing down/lagging for me, when I put down the FPS Limiter.
A cap at 60 or unlimited makes this problem disappear.

Ask in the emulators’ own forums. Since your issue isn’t specifically with a Steam game there’s little anyone can do.

I've had a similar issue and solution. It seems like most emulators (at least through retroarch) expect 60fps and so limiting the deck below that causes a lag.

It's a Steam Deck issue with a specific and easy fix.

Choose to have single-game settings for RetroArch (or other emulation program), and then turn off the FPS limiter for it.
