You have all countries there listed that steam deck is currently available for.
Update: It seems list is not 100% updated so yeah.
Even with the extra shipping, I'm sure it would be cheaper than ebay.
I do have friends in the US but the Steam Deck isn't sold in stores (yet), right? I highly doubt they have the time to order online (most of them don't know how to operate computers. lol).
i think japan and korea are usually considered a different "region"; philipines is usually considered as part of the group that includes australia, so there are bigger chances for philipines if they included australia. afaik theres no news about that.
Mexico for example, even if considered north america is placed in "latam" region, so until that region, or at least two more "big" countries (ie Argentine) are mentioned, the chances for official sales through steam store are also very low.
but hopefully, maybe, one day they will make a deal with one chain to open sales in countries that arent currently covered. imo, it would be better if there was a way they could make a good deal with amazon to help with distribution in more countries.
imo this could help reducing scalpers trying to resell the deck overpriced.
I also strongly suggest you get a Micro SD card to go along with it. Especially if you get the 64GB steam deck, then only install games on the Micro SD card and leave the primary drive for the needs of Steam OS. Samsung makes a good one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09B1HMJ9Z/
you didnt got my point: its about how big corporations like to distribute products and sales in different countries by their location vs the amount of potential sales.
australia is part of "oceania":
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oceania
philipines is a bit north, and may be closer to south korea, but unlike australia, there are less people there that may be able to afford a steam deck, and then also willing to buy one. in australia more people have enough "purchasing power" to get a deck.
that means that if valve could send steam decks to australia, there would be little to no excuse to also include later philipines, since its already closer to korea and japan. philipines may be "low priority" but for those reasons if australia was included, they would have a chance to have official distribution too.
i mentioned Mexico as an example of a similar situation. Currently there are no countries in the southern region of america considered, and even if mexico is next to usa, is probably too risky to distribute steam decks for some other reason.
