I was one of those guys that had the “pleasure” of receiving an empty case from GLS. I’ve contacted GLS Portugal and they told-me to contact Valve since if the console was not in the case, it was because Valve didn’t send it.
My advice to you is open the box and validate its content before letting the delivery guy go, and reject the package with justification if the content is not ok. Hopefully, you will get your SD 😊.
What I'm trying to say is that GLS should handle this differently, at the very least, open an investigation at any ones request. Why does it have to be valve to request it?
It doesn't seem right to me, but what do i know.
Looks like it is impossible but it is not, Valve works with the worst delivery company that exists.
So I'm one of lucky ones to have my steam deck go through GLS safely.
Happy for you, hope you get it soon and enjoy your new beast 🙂
In my case, the replacement unit is MIA, left the Netherlands and ... GLS lost track of it.
