Worked before directly on bios... Steam OS... Windows...
But I don't know why suddenly the dock no longer wanted to work with a usb mouse/keyboard.
Forced to do in bluetooth but it's boring...
Only USB key work.
I tested 4 docks !
It did just a month or so ago.
Both M+KB work fine when not used with Deck.
I made sure everything was up to date (also from desktop mode), then did a hard power down. When I powered the system back on everything started working again.
Thanks, this did the trick for me.
I was busy in desktop, restarted and external screen, ethernet, mouse and keyboard would no longer work. Restarted another time, same thing. Deck was still getting power from the dock.
So followed your advice, powered down from desktop mode and disconnected the dock. Connected the dock and turned it on. Everything back
I am not happy about it, and I am not sure if I wanna fight Valve on it, because RMAing it would mean that I would have to stick the original SSD and backplate back on it.
Quite disappointing, though.
run
You should see lots of stuff like controllers, keyboard etc. If not, you should go to the bios and change usb from drd to xhci. USB DRD drivers are bit borked.
Good call on the DRD drivers. I'll give that a shot and see if that works.
