USB Keyboard/Mouse stopped working

Hi,

Since reinstalling a fresh copy of the OS onto my Steam Deck, no USB keyboard or mouse will work with either Gaming Mode or Desktop Mode. Is there anything I can do to make this work again sorry?

im sorry, what in the hell did u do to have to reinstall from scratch? thats the first problem, second unless ur using a dock, i think the only way to use a mouse and keyboard is threw bluetooth unless ur using steam link which is also questionable why, technically if u have to factory reset that should bring back the original os unless ur hacking threw sd or something else in which look on hack forums for possible solutions

I'm having the same problem. USB mouse and keyboard randomly stopped working. Doesn't matter if I use the official dock or not. I factory reset my steam deck to try and fix it but it didn't work

I'd also like to know if there's a solution here. I've been using a USB keyboard and mouse with my Deck perfectly ever since I got a dock (the official dock at that!) and it randomly decides to stop recognizing them! I used them with a KVM switch that still works just fine on my PC, but Steam Deck no longer seems to even want to provide power to these peripherals anymore. Even plugging the mouse and keyboard directly into the dock, no luck.

I've had the same problem. Ive installed no extra drivers or anything since I've gotten the deck and the keyboard I used worked fine, until a couple days ago when the steam deck stopped taking input from it. The keyboard still is powered by the dock, but its input is not recognized.

They might've changed the internal storage drive. I'm planning to change my 64 GB drive to a 1 TB as soon as I get it in the mail. I'm hoping I won't have this problem.

My mouse just stopped working in the official dock. It still works in a third party dock.

My mouse stopped working on the official dock too. I would just get a bluetooth mouse if the dongle stops working.

Same problem i had Anker usb c last version 1+8 and after i updade to stable os my hub stop working nothing.!Guys if have some fix tell me i download to 3.4.6 and nothing only work bluetooth

Anyone has an update for this issue? Dongle suddenly stop working with docks. I've tried using the dock on my phone and it still works perfectly. Also tried my dongle with a usb c to usb a in SD and works fine as well.

Keyboard and mouse worked with my amazon Docktek dock for me until the official dock came out. Doesn't work with SteamOS and Win10 either since then.
