Rampage Arcade-Emulation MAME help please!

I’ve had easy success with getting retro games running with rom/bios..but I can’t MAME to work. I tried Rampage (which I REALLY want to play) and then Robocop but I can’t seem to figure out how to get arcade games ti work in Emulation Statio or otherwise 😖
Obviously I’m very new to emulation—any help or direction to help is greatly appreciated!

Download wine from the discover store and try launching the exe directly from the desktop using wine. That’s how I use it anyways but my version of MAME is super old 0.83
