Report a translation problem
The Steam Deck outputs always Full RGB, but the signal information seems always Limited RGB. So any TV will set itself @ Limited, while the input is actually full RGB (resulting too dark and saturated image). This is a bug, so I reported it this week: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/1/3395175706734931353/
I do not think it's a great place to patch it. HDMI/Displayport etc should have one configuration that provides the full capabilities of the display.
Gamescope should be a better place to handle this issue because it is more flexible etc.
