Uh, it's not 3D CAD/animation. It's Marching Band choreography. It's also likely too small for the 8" 720P screen. So, I guess I'd only test if it was really "Goat Simulator: Marching Instructions". XD
Sorry. Cheers, retro.
I don't see where the OP said it was 3D CAD / animation software?
I'd also concur that it will likely be an unpleasant experience trying to use Pyware on Steam Deck, from both a display/resolution perspective and a controls perspective (assuming they aren't using a KB+M).
@OP if you want to try to test it out on a spare computer you can download the HoloISO to install essentially SteamOS3 on a PC. Then you can test it out without potentially mucking up your Steam Deck.

Also if you don't have a bunch of things already setup on Steam Deck you can easily make a recovery UFD and reimage the Steam Deck if you do use your Steam Deck to test it out and end up mucking things up.

EDIT:
p.s. I used this back in high school when it was called Dynamic Drill Design. Great tool, but the UI doesn't look like it has evolved significantly and would almost certainly be frustrating to try to use on the small display.
