Hey on my PC I use Game Bar to talk to my xbox friends, how do you think I can do that on a Deck? TY

You can't cause SteamOS is Linux. You can install Windows on the device but I don't recommend it.

I know it's not the best solutions, but you should be able to use both Google Meetups and Discord in their web based forms through Steam OS within games.

This may cause a performance hit if works, but this should at least be theoretically possible

Yes this is what I have been doing too but it's cooler and more convenient with one device.

Yes I agree, I was thinking the same thing

I think you'd need to define what you mean by "normal services". Releasing a communication platform to PC has big repercussions for a service because it can be used in ways that were not initially intended, including the use of browser tools for spamming/scamming users. That aside, it just introduces additional test cases that a QA team would have to budget for... Not impossible, but very very unlikely.
