Whats RMA Replacement wait times like?
Took 4 weeks to get Steam to allow me to return faulty steam deck (battery not holding charge) - they made me go through many many hoops. Theyve now had my steam deck for over 2 weeks & when I chase them I get a standard response saying you'll have to wait.

Pretty poor considering how much time we had to wait for them in the 1st place. I'm beginning to consider whether I actually want one anymore & whether to contact my Credit card company and request a chargeback as I'm sick and tired of the poor service from Steam.

So how long have others had to wait for replacement devices?

Since another company handles RMAs, more RMAs are taking place, it can take a while.

I would advise against a chargeback as that will restrict (lock) your account (until it is reversed) and ban your payment method forever.

With large electronic purchases (which the Deck falls into), it seems the norm is around 3-4 weeks for RMA. I had a RMA a TV and it was 3.5 weeks start to finish. Those RMA'ing Decks have see around the same turn around times.

My battery is completely dead and will not charge. Trying to get Steam to issue a replacement.

Hey guys, my Steam Deck that I got only 5 days ago will not charge above 90%. Should I get a replacement?

Do you have your Deck sitting "on power" for large amounts of time?
