how to reset steam desktop configuration on desktop mode ?

anyone know how to do it ? i got messed up with the d-pad button but i cant revert it back to default settings. anyone can help please ?thanks

4. Base Configurations
5. Desktop Configuration

At this point you would typically press X button, Recommended, Desktop Configuration, and then apply it with X button.

But there appears to be a bug where the Recommended Configuration is not applying. So instead of that, go to Templates and choose one of those. X button to apply the Preview.

If you want to edit the dpad, it's the bottom left of screen. Trackpads are above the picture of the Steam Deck.

What? Those options aren't even on the steam deck.
I have never seen a base configurations on this piece of garbage
