Yes; there are plenty on Amazon that are able to charge while you use the deck. Mine is like 20 dollars and has 2 USB-A, 2 USB-C, a LAN port and the HDMI port. Works just fine

Anyway you could post a link? I was doing some reading earlier and I read you need to be careful as some of those could potentially damage your steam deck. So I am very cautious.

This is the one I purchased; and seems to work fine so far.

I didn't try the LAN port yet, but I would not see any reason for not think that it should just work

As far as being careful; that apply to any computer. If you buy cheap devices you may end up burning the USB controller on the mainboard or worst. If you see that the price of a peripheral is too low, there are good chances that it is fundamentally trash

Not with VRR and HDR though the only ones i found that support VRR and HDR are the ones that are only usbc to HDMI 4k 60 HDR VRR. But theres no way to charge your deck.

HDR needs at least 2.0, and official VRR needs at least 2.1 however freesync can work on lower provided that the adapter chip supports it.
