If a game relies on a mod manager, especially one that runs from an . exe file, then you have to deal with Wine, which is less consistent.
Hopefully over time, the userbase will develop tutorials for getting mods to work on Linux.
I also added a couple of mods (huge bag and custom ui) to Lotro by dropping them into the documents folder of the games Prefix and they worked a treat as well.
manjaro is a similar os to current version of steam os in the deck, so most fixes and hacks to install some mods that normally would only work in windows should also work in the deck.
Needless to say, all my attemtps with Wine and Bottles failed miserably at getting Frosty to properly work.
But then again, I was so outside of Valve's intent for the Deck, that I really cannot blame them for it :D
I had a quick look at frosty but couldn’t find anything on its dependencies.
I also have ReShade working using a script, but in RE2 I can't press any hotkeys for mods/external software that require .dll files. So I had to setup ReShade for another game, make the config + changes there, and then copy it over for RE2 to use.
Mods are also working for Sonic Mania and Bloodstained RotN.
And I did get Special K enabled for Tales of Berseria, but I haven't tried opening the in-game config menu yet to see if it fully works.
Aww, I really wanted to play Dragon Age Inquisition modded so it's disappointing Frosty doesn't work.
none that i could find... and i should mention, Linux isn't my specialty, I havent used it in almost 15 years, so i'm basically flying blind through it :D
