on that one using moo, it states May 10 now, where as doing the moo script through the original site showed May 2nd, hopefully May 10 is the exact date.

I don't think May 10 can be the exact date, since it's shipping on Mondays and Thursdays.

How does it work?

Moo's method attempts to simulate the number of deck orders each minute and Valve's throughput of decks each day. Then it calculates the estimated ship date based on throughput each day. It supports almost any date, but is most accurate for the first day of orders and the 512GB model due to that being where most of the sample data is. This algo also generates a lot of cool data, like orders over time, how many units will ship each month, etc... TODO extract and display the data.

Gecked's method interpolates estimated dates in the sample data. This means it does not support After Q2 dates.

Abyzma's method randomly selects a date within your quarter.

they are mathematical forecasts based on data informed voluntarily by people who ordered then received their units and what other scarce public info is around

one of them actually spews a *random date in the correct quarter*, so yeah... not accurate at all, LOL

it's not inside info from Valve, and even if it was, Valve keeps running into supply-chain issues and whatnot, which is why they never promise an exact date either, only "Q3" and "after Q3" precision levels

I doubt they're Accurate
The Calc says I'll get my email next week 9th May.
But i know they're sending emails for people that reserved at 25mins in my Q
I reserved at 41mins, So I'm way off.
The list is moving about 2-3mins per monday
I Have a few Monday's to go
I reckon mid to end of June for mine
Unless Manufacturing Ramps up?

The calculator shows that mine should have arrived almost 20 days ago, but in reality after seeing it move up a whole minute and a half a week, I know that I'm likely the week after Mother's day.

512's are screwed with how bad the shipping times have been, it's literally only around 19:46 past reserve launch time right now for US/NA 512 shipments.... so if you got stuck due to the site crapping out or payment errors you get to wait even longer.

Valve wasn't joking when they said they underestimated the demand for the 512 model, they grossly underestimated... My initial email was 10 minutes after, but Visa ♥♥♥♥ the bed and my payment didn't clear until 21 after, and that alone was enough to push me from Dec originally to Q1, and now Q2 likely week of May 9th.

I'll be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ livid if my parcel gets stolen by FedEx, or the Deck arrives busted, that's all I can say...

UK 512GB under 15 minutes and only moving by 45 seconds VS EU 335 minutes moving up by 4328 seconds. NA in the middle.

I can't see Valve making their Q2 target at this rate.
