Beam the Steam Deck to Steam Link App on Apple TV

Hey to the lucky owners.
Is it possible to use the Steam Link App on the Apple Tv as a destination for the Steam Deck to Beam the Picture to the Big screen if you want?
And if yes, can you use the Steam Deck still as controller or did you need an additional Bluetooth Controller to Play the games on the big screen?

I did this with the Steam Link app on my Sony Android TV so I suspect it will behave the same on Apple TV. Yes you can use the Deck as the controller, but the screen and audio will just be mirrored.
The experience is far from good tho - I just think the lag and performance of the Steam Link experience is really bad on the Deck as of now - It's stuttery and the quality is a mess.
