How long from confirming email order to actual shipment?

Anyone who's already received their steam deck.... how long a time between confirming the order form the invite email (and paying in-full) and it actually shipping?

3-4 days. They wait to ship in batches. Not based on how quick you paid.

I take you mean when the track n trace gets sent out when you paid for the product. I think starting on thursday for some to friday in europe (72h from monday is like thursday at 19:00, usually post office is closed an hour earlier in the Netherlands, from where they ship) so NL lads might see it on friday if the order was sent out on a thursday, otherwise saturday to tuesday. you're able to buy it up to the minute before your reservation expires so i take that only after the total 72h will they start shipping the ones which were paid for.

Depends on your region, for US, seems that Valve ships on every Wednesday

All I know is that I ordered the day I got my email and had the Deck 7 days later. UK order.

First email and payed Thursday 7th April, Tuesday 12th April tracking says in transit to final parcel center. Not sure where the final parcel center is, but thats 4 working days Thursday and Friday inclusive. I am in UK.

Whelp I’m in Q3 and I got the email on 8/8, paid in full with in minutes. It’s now 8/13 and mine still says “shipping soon”? I’m in the US on the east coast and it seems like it’s taking forever and a day just to ship…?!

-Quick update, around noon today got my shipping notice. Says expected 8/18.. if it makes it by then, it’s taking 10 days from purchase to received.

Same here, paid on the 1st still on “Shipping Soon”. I already contacted support and they are investigating what happened and that takes 2-3 days…
