Anyone else moved from Q2 to Q3?

I just got moved today.... I'm pretty bummed... I ordered the Steam Deck a few hours after release... I was on it when it released but my stupid deposit was pending and it said it cancelled the deposit payment. But I couldn't replace the order until the cancelled pend disappeared.

I've been bumped from Q2 to Q3 this week. I placed my reservation a week after they opened the system in July 24th last year.

Went from After Q2 to Q3. Order the day after.

Just be happy we didn’t get moved all the way down to “After Q3” which happened to some people.

Edit: The positives are that by the time we get ours, the trackpad and Wi-Fi issues will be all sorted.

Just to be clear since it seems people I've seen elsewhere are under the impression they're getting bumped back, "After Q2" and "Q3" are effectively the same thing. Q3 is actually better, since it doesn't also include after Q3 like "After Q2" does.

I've noticed lots of people misinterpreting their "After Q2" estimate to mean immediately after Q2. I mean, for some people it probably means exactly that, but "after" leaves a lot up for interpretation. I could be July of this year. It could also mean December of 2030. It's kind of an open-ended time frame.

Those going from "after Q2" to "after Q3" haven't been moved anywhere in the queue. The estimate just gets more accurate the closer they get. "After Q3" still falls within "after Q2" after all.

Personally, I expected “After Q2” to be anywhere from mid Q3 to past Q4 2022. Expectations were pretty low.

Also, some of us now have a Q3 date, but even that can be moved again depending on supply and the world in general.

So, managing expectations are important.

Yep, and I expect some time later some of the "after Q3" people will become "Q4" people, while the rest become "after Q4 2022" people.

Also agreed. We are still in a component shortage, and now we might be staring down the barrel of WW3. Let's try to keep expectations reasonable.

no one was bumped back. the where unable to give you prior a more clear answer then AFTER Q2.now many got in Q3 and the rest see now AFTER Q3. that also included next year.

and to be hones, that are some ppl thinking? the after q2 came after some days after the initial announcement. if you placed your reservation this year, be sure that you will not hold your device this year in your hands.

Yup, yesterday Q2, now Q3.
But to be fair I didnt expect to get it before Fall 2022 at least.

After Q2 does not mean before Q3. It just means after Q2. After Q3 is also after Q2.

We didn't get moved. We got more specific timeframes.
"After Q2" includes both Q3 and any time after Q3. Going from "After Q2" to "After Q3" is the same thing as going from "Summer" to July. It's just a more specific window in the same timeframe.
