password steamdeck

Hello i try to install app through consol
I get a message "password steamdeck" like "password user" on pc...
but i don't have any password
Maybe default password exist ?

Password is blank. You can't use a sudo command until you open the terminal (konsole) and run passwd and then set one.

What about command su ?
need password too but its not the same

The root account password is probably also not set to anything, for security reasons you should leave it that way. If you can use sudo there is no reason to ever log in directly as the root user.

Here is the direct word from Valve, linked above:

The default deck user is shipped with no password. This is a secure setting that prevents access via ssh, and can't be used to run commands via sudo.

If you’d like to set a password in order to run sudo commands, open a terminal window and set a secure password using the passwd command. At that point you will be able to use sudo anywhere elevation is required.

By default su normally switches with the root user.
