It's appalling Valve treats EFTA countries like this, but at least Switzerland has neighbours, unlike Iceland.
Whilst Switzerland hasn't officially joined the EEA, they have various bilateral agreements that makes them defacto members of the single market.
I can understand that it suxx that you cant order one or need a third party for relay the package (i did this with my buddy sometimes and it was always a huge pain in the ass why i can understand that its much more expensive)
As long as you are near on the boarder you could use a packagestation or someone that you know to order it an you pick it up.
